CAYET CARE GUIDE

CAYET pieces are made from high-quality materials designed to last. Proper care is essential to maintain their quality and shape. You can follow these tips to keep your CAYET garments looking their best, while also conserving electricity and water to benefit our planet.

SMOOTH CENTRIFUGATIONS

Use the gentle spin cycle when washing your pieces. This helps prevent peeling and reduces microfibers released into the water, making it better for the environment.

PILLING

To minimize pilling (the small bumps that form on fabrics), turn your garment inside out before washing. You can also use an electric pilling remover if needed.

AIRING vs WASHING

Washing can wear out fabrics. Instead, hang your pieces outside to air out or gently brush them to refresh.

IRONING vs DRYING

Avoid the dryer; instead, roll your garments to dry. This saves energy, reduces fabric wear, and helps prevent shrinking.

TURN INSIDE OUT

Always turn your garments inside out before washing. This protects the fabric and helps maintain its quality.

KNITWEAR CARE

Knitwear can lose its shape when stretched. Lay it flat to dry and store it folded, rather than hanging. Hand washing is recommended to preserve its form and quality.

CAYET CARE GUIDE

SILK VELVET
For silk velvet pieces, we recommend dry cleaning or hand washing only. Avoid machine washing. To dry, lay the item flat on a clean, dry towel, away from direct sunlight. Avoid spinning or wringing.

CUPRO
Wash cupro textiles by hand in cold water without pressing. To dry, hang the pieces in their natural shape. Avoid the dryer. For ironing, use the lowest temperature and steam function.

FEATHERS
Store feathered pieces in a way that preserves their shape. Wash them by hand in cold water using dishwashing detergent. Let them dry flat in a well-ventilated area, avoiding the dryer. Keep feathers away from cosmetics and moisture.

KNIT
Always wash knitwear by hand and avoid twisting it to maintain its shape. Dry by laying the pieces flat on a clean towel. Only store them when completely dry, and never hang them. Fold them instead.
