CAYET CARE GUIDE

CAYET pieces are made with quality materials that ensure durability. Knowing how to take care of them when washing and drying is important to maintain that quality and their original shape. That is why we give you some tips that will help you preserve your CAYET pieces. Moreover, by adopting these habits, you will reduce the waste of electricity and water, making a positive contribution to our planet.

SMOOTH CENTRIFUGATIONS
Choose to use the gentle spin program when washing your pieces, as it reduces peeling while helping to care for the garment. It also reduces the release of microfilm, which contributes to less environmental impact.

PILLING
You can reduce the formation of pilling on your pieces by turning it inside out before washing, or eliminate it with an electric pilling remover. Pilling is the formation of bumps on fiber such as wool or cotton.

AIRING vs WASHING
Washing slowly wears away fabrics. Choose to hang your pieces outdoors for airing out, or just brush it carefully to bring it back to life.

IRONING vs DRYING
When it’s time to dry your pieces, choose to roll it out instead of using the dryer. In addition to saving energy, it will combat fabric wear, prevent peeling, and won’t cause the garment to shrink.

TURN INSIDE OUT
Before washing turn your garment inside out to avoid wear and to protect the fabric ensuring the original quality.

TAKE CARE OF THE KNITWEAR
The elasticity of knitwear can cause it to lose its original shape when the garments are stretched out. Therefore, the best way to dry your knitted garments is to lay them out straight and store them folded in your closet. You can also choose to hand wash them to maintain their original shape and quality.
